How automatic server selection works

When you upload, ZappFiles stores your files in a secure AWS bucket and automatically routes to the nearest region. We currently operate in four regions:

• Europe
• US West
• US East
• Asia Pacific

Choosing the closest server helps you:

• Upload faster thanks to shorter network distances
• Deliver better download speeds for recipients in the same region
• Align with data privacy requirements in applicable jurisdictions

Premium users get full control

With ZappFiles Premium, you can override the default and pick any region you like—ideal for:

• International file sharing where your recipient is overseas
• Ensuring clients get the fastest possible download speeds
• Meeting regional storage preferences or requirements

Example: you're in the US, your client's in Europe. Select the European server—your upload may take slightly longer, but their download will be lightning fast. See Premium pricing.
