Storage limits
Every plan includes unlimited uploads, but each plan also has a total amount of storage you can hold at any one time. Total storage is the combined size of all your transfers that haven't expired or been deleted yet — not a monthly allowance that resets.
How much each plan includes
- Without an account — 15 GB total storage
- Free plan — 15 GB total storage
- Pro plan — 1,000 GB total storage
- Max plan — 2,000 GB total storage
Total storage vs. per-upload size
These are two separate limits. The per-upload size limit is the largest single transfer you can send (for example, 250 GB on Max). Total storage is how much you can have stored across all your active transfers combined. You can send as many transfers as you like, as long as the total of everything still live stays under your plan's limit.
How storage frees up
Space is returned automatically as your transfers clear. Storage frees up when:
- A transfer reaches its expiry date and is removed
- You delete a transfer or individual files from transfer management
- A transfer set to delete after download is collected by the recipient
What happens at the limit
If a new transfer would push you over your plan's total storage, you'll be asked to free up space by deleting older transfers, or to upgrade to a plan with a higher limit. Transfers you've already sent are never affected — the limit only applies when starting something new.
Sending without an account
You can send up to 15 GB at a time without signing up, and those transfers expire quickly. Creating a free account ties your storage to your login so it's tracked reliably across devices, and upgrading to Pro or Max raises the limit substantially. If you regularly send large files, an account is the best way to keep your storage organized and your transfers around longer.
